About GKC ARMA
The Greater Kansas City Chapter of ARMA International is an
association of professionals serving the Information Management
field. Our membership includes records and information managers,
archivists, corporate librarians, imaging specialists, legal
professionals, knowledge managers, consultants, educators and
members of the business community serving the Information Management
profession.
As a not-for-profit association, our objective is to provide our
members with continuing education and networking opportunities.
This allows our members to use their skills and experience to
influence the management of records, information, and knowledge as
business assets and participate fully on the path to organizational
achievement.
Records and information are vital assets. As technology becomes more
complex, the volume of records larger, and the risk of damage or liability
greater, the need for highly skilled records professionals is growing. As
a result, an increasing number of businesses, government agencies, law
firms, universities, utilities, and other organizations are turning to
professional records managers for solutions. The high quality of
